A.   THE AQUATIC CENTRE

The Aquatic Centre offers a bright and colourful atmosphere for residents and tenants to use.  Early risers to late night bathers may take advantage of the 5:00 am to midnight, 7 days a week operating time. For your convenience, daily use of lockers is provided. For safety and courtesy to all residents we ask that you comply with the posted Rules and Regulations.

B.      CONCORDIA FITNESS FACILITY

An energizing environment combined with modern equipment is found in The Concordia Fitness Facility.  The beginner to the advance fitness “buff” will find equipment suitable for most workout programs.  Some features include a multi-gym, seated leg press, total hip machine, crossover machine, recumbent and upright bikes, treadmills, stair climber, cross trainer, leg raise station, stretching mats, dumbbells, skipping ropes, bosu-ball, exercise balls and medicine balls.  A personal trainer is available for hire also for your convenience.

C.      KELSEY HALL

Residents wanting light entertainment without leaving home may take advantage of Kelsey Hall.  Perhaps a game of cards, pool, foosball or bubble hockey would be a way to meet other residents or entertain your family and friends. You may wish to relax in the comfortable lounge area while appreciating the warm glow from the natural gas fireplace or catch the big game on our 47 " LCD TV.

D & E.      MACKENZIE HALL and BRADFORD ROOM

Planning a party, karaoke event, small wedding reception, talent evening or a social activity for a maximum of 60 friends, family, business or work colleagues then may we suggest the unique décor of Mackenzie Hall.   Bring in a caterer or supply your own food and we provide a kitchen equipped with fridge, stove and microwave.  For those beautiful, long, hot summer evenings you may take advantage of the barbeque area located on the deck (we even supply the natural gas BBQ), which is accessed from Mackenzie Hall.  Reservations are required and made through the website,.  If you require extra seating the Bradford Room that adjoins Mackenzie Hall is outfitted with tables and chairs for 12 people.  The Bradford Room including the kitchen may be reserved on its own also using the website.

F.      THEATRE

An Egyptian theme provides a mystical appearance for the theatre where residents are encouraged to invite their family and friends to experience sporting events, movies etc. on the 52” LCD  screen with surround system that also includes BluRay DVD and Hi-Definition TV access. Reservations are required  and made through the website with seating limited to a maximum of 12. We have an extensive DVD library of over 300 titles and it is added to every month.

G.      THE CORBETT LIBRARY

A comfortable chair, a great book and “Yes” even a study book, can be enjoyed in the relaxed setting enhanced by the distinctive decorating features of the Corbett Library.  We encourage and appreciate residents to donate books that are in good condition to create a diversified selection of reading material. Donated books may be delivered to the Amenities Coordinator office in the fitness centre.

H.      BRISTOL BUSINESS CENTRE (not shown)

No need to take a trip out of the building to surf the internet, make a photo copy, send a fax or print a document. All these features are accessible in the Bristol Business Centre.  We supply the equipment free of charge and residents supply their own paper, pens, pencils and general office supplies.  

I.      THE RUTHERFORD ROOM (not shown)

WOW…a room for the mature adult to experience their own social activities. We encourage the residents to work together to plan special events, such as card games, board games, weekly coffee parties, celebrating important occasions, and birthdays.  The room is equipped with 4 cozy chairs for relaxation, a television, 3 tables and 6 chairs with the added features of a fridge, microwave, coffee and teapots.  Monthly Birthday Cake Days are held in this room for all to enjoy. 

J.      THE STANFORD STUDY HALL (not shown)

Do you require a QUIET study environment with Internet hook-up?  Then the Stanford Study Hall will provide you with that setting.  Study Carrel’s with Internet access and ergonomic chairs offer a cheery, comfortable and workable setting.

 

K.      THE SUSSEX ROOM (not shown)

Need a place for a group study or meeting?  The Sussex Room has comfortable leather chairs and 3 tables that can be moved around in the room to accommodate meetings of 8-12 people quite comfortably. Reservations are required  and made through the website.
